in good company

This painting is based on a frame from the music video for "Space" by musical artist Audrey Nuna. I discovered the video as well as the artist in July of 2021. I was going through difficult times and the theme of isolation in the song as well as the blue room in the video resonated with me. That year I had prepped the canvas to start the painting, only to complete it 4 years later, after another period of isolation further strengthening my connection the song and its message.
